Protecting your privacy:
Your privacy is important to AIC Acquisition Company, LLC (“AIC”) (dba AIC Equipment & Controls Inc. and dba Plasti-Co® Equipment Co.). This General Privacy Policy was created to address how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your information. To ensure that your personal data is secure, we communicate our information security and privacy guidelines to all Our employees and enforce privacy safeguards within the company.
Information collection:
Visitors to our publicly available website, we collect information when you browse or register on our site, request information, quote request, subscribe our newsletter, respond to a survey, or fill out a form. When registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, e-mail address, mailing address and/or phone number. Certain information about your session is collected and does not identify individual users when you visit our website, it may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp and other click through data. We also use cookies as described in following section. Please note that this online General Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline.
If you are an AIC employee, we may collect various types of data about you that is needed for your working relationship with the company as well as organizational planning and management.

All inquiries from outside the company concerning identity, employment record, or performance of a current or terminated employee are referred to the internal HR department and/or an attorney representing our company. They will verify the credentials of the agency representative before releasing any information about any current or terminated employee. The company and our representatives of our company takes reasonable and appropriate measures to secure your personal data.
Our website is available to the public and is hosted on a secure server.
Disclosure of any information to others:
AIC does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer information to any outside parties. But, this does exclude third parties who assist us with human resource management, employee equity compensation, in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. Your information may be released when we believe release is necessary to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, protect our or other’s rights, property, safety, or share personal information as necessary to other corporate entities as part of a business transition such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Although, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. We value your privacy and because of your privacy, we have taken the necessary precautions to follow the Michigan Internet Privacy Protection Act (MIPPA). We will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your prior consent.
Data Access, Choice and Integrity:
We give our employees the opportunity to opt out from allowing the company to disclose his or her personal information to a third party or to use it for any purpose, other than to those affiliated and contracted with AIC for human resources, payroll, health benefits, IT and other outside resources supporting AIC and its employees. We do reserve the right to maintain any personal information that it is required to be kept and/or maintained for compliance purposes and/or to protect the company and/or preserve the companies legal rights under pending, threatened, or potential legal action. All employees are asked to inform our acting Human Resources or Payroll departments, or his or her manager, President or CFO immediately in the event of changes in their personal information. If any information is inaccurate or incomplete, the individual may request that inaccurate information be corrected. The company takes reasonable steps to ensure that personal data is accurate, complete, and current.
Children’s Personal Information:
We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
Changes to General Privacy Policy
An annual self-assessment is administered in order to verify that the General Privacy Policy is published and implemented within the Company and that it conforms to MIPPA or other regulations. If determined that changes to our General Privacy Policy are needed, the changes will be posted on this page, and/or update to the General Privacy Policy modification date below.
